Paes-Bhupathi Pair Wins MIAMI Title, Becomes World Number One | Tennis 2011 The third seed Indian pair defeated the second seed pair of Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor to win the Sony Ericsson Open. Paes-Bhupathi won 6-7(5), 6-2, 10-5 and became the World Number 1 doubles players ahead of the Bryan brothers.
